  • Delivery Service:

    The Deli Dish app collects important information such as name, phone number, vehicle type, regions, and prices. This information is displayed to restaurants to ease collaboration and allows customers to choose you for their delivery needs.

  • Usage Data:

    Usage Data is collected automatically when using the service. This may include: 1- App Interactions: How often the app is opened. 2- Order History: Frequency of orders. 3- Location Data: Delivery addresses saved or used. 4- Preferences: Saved favorite restaurants or cuisines.

  • Information Collected While Using the Application:

    While using our application, and in order to provide certain features, we may collect the following information (with your prior permission): 1- Information regarding your location. 2- Pictures and other information from your device's camera and photo library. 3- Location Data: Delivery addresses saved or used.

    Deli Dish uses delivery information to display it to restaurants and facilitate collaboration. Additionally, it shows information to the customer when interacting with delivery services to improve communication.

  • User (Customer):

    1- Deli Dish shares user information with restaurants and delivery services to fulfill the user's order. 2- Deli Dish shares user posts with all users, but the user has the freedom to restrict interactions through post settings. 3- Deli Dish may share user information in legal situations (if required by law or to protect Deli Dish's rights). 4- Deli Dish may share user information in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Deli Dish (personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction).

  • Restaurant:

  • Delivery Service:

The delivery service can cancel its subscription by contacting customer support. Please note that cancelling the subscription will result in the loss of all delivery service features and revert to a customer account. Delivery data will never be deleted.

Third-Party Links

The Deli Dish app does not contain links to third-party websites or services and prohibits third parties (users, restaurants, and delivery services) from sharing with any external party. Violations may result in the account being banned. But the only entity that Deli Dish interacts with is Google, in order to create a user account through it, and this is optional for the customer.

Children's Privacy

The Deli Dish app is not intended for users under the age of 12. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If the app management discovers the collection of such data, appropriate actions will be taken to delete it. If you believe we have unintentionally collected information from a child, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to delete this information.

The Deli Dish app provides the tools necessary for its users (restaurants, delivery services, and customers) to facilitate their use and benefit from it fully. The services provided include the following:

  • Restaurant:

    1- Create a dedicated page for the restaurant containing its information and menu. 2- Comprehensive management of restaurant operations such as order tracking, reservations, staff management, accounting, and inventory. 3- Providing full financial records for the restaurant. 4- Offering promotional tools such as posts and stories. 5- Managing promotions, coupons, and cashback offers. 6- Access to customers and suitable delivery services. 7- Analytical tools to help manage and improve restaurant performance. 8- Providing customer data such as the number of orders and accepted or rejected bookings, which helps the restaurant decide whether to accept or reject an order.

  • Delivery:

    1- Efficiently manage delivery orders by accepting or rejecting them. 2- Facilitate collaboration with restaurants by providing quick access. 3- Enable customers to choose you for delivering their orders. 4- Provide customer data on order numbers and accepted or rejected bookings to help decide whether to accept a delivery or not.

  • Customer:

    1- Browse and explore available restaurants near you. 2- Order food from your favourite restaurants and choose a suitable delivery service. 3- Interact with restaurant posts and other customers. 4- Share your own posts related to restaurants. 5- Make reservations in restaurants. 6- Track your order status from preparation to delivery. 7- Evaluate orders and deliveries and leave comments on your experience. 8- Access various offers, coupons, and cashback cards. 9- View other customer ratings of restaurants and deliveries.

Registration and Account

When creating an account on the app, you are responsible for the following:

  • You must be at least 12 years old to create an account on the app.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
  • You are responsible for all activities performed through your account.

Modify and Delete Account:

Deli Dish offers a simple user interface for modifying or deleting your account. Here's how you can do it for each account type:

  • Customer:

    Go to: Account Info > Account Settings. From here, you can choose to modify your data or delete your account. If you delete your account, please note that all your personal data and account-related information will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored. This includes: 1- Personal information (such as name, email, phone number). 2- All content you have added or shared on the app. 3- All addresses you have saved. 4- All cashback and coupons linked to your account. 5- Any other data related to your account.

  • Delivery:

    Go to: Account Info > Dashboard. From here, you can choose to modify your data. If you want to delete your delivery account or unsubscribe, you must contact customer support either through the app (from Account Info > Contact Support) or via email. Please note that delivery account data will never be deleted.

  • Restaurant:

    Go to: Account Info > Dashboard > Manage Restaurants. From here, you can choose to modify data or delete restaurants. To unsubscribe, you must contact customer support either through the app (from Account Info > Contact Support) or via email. After unsubscribing, your data will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

In Deli Dish, we aim to provide a secure and smooth experience for all users. However, you may face difficulty accessing your account due to forgotten passwords or account breaches. This policy explains the steps you can take to recover your account:

  • Forgot Password:

    If you've forgotten your account password, you can reset it by following these steps: 1- Go to the login page and click on "Forgot Password". 2- Enter the email associated with your account. 3- You will receive an email with a verification code. 4- Enter the verification code on the popup verification page. 5- Reset your password to a new one.

  • Account Breach:

    If you suspect that your account has been hacked, immediately change your password through Account Info > Account Settings > Password. If you need assistance, you can contact our technical support team for further instructions.

Orders and Delivery

In the Deli Dish app, orders and deliveries are managed in an organized way to ensure a smooth experience for the main parties: the customer, the restaurant, and the delivery service.

  • All orders are placed through the app according to the available options, and you should verify the order details before completing the order.
  • The restaurant is fully responsible for the quality of food and compliance with health standards.
  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery address information.
  • The delivery service is responsible for timely delivery.
  • The app does not guarantee the constant availability of products or services, and menu or price changes may occur without prior notice.

Here's how the system works in detail:

  • Main Roles:

    1- Customer: Places the order and pays for it. 2- Restaurant: Prepares the order and hands it over to the delivery person. 3- Delivery: Delivers the order to the customer.

  • Customer:

    1- Browse Restaurants and Dishes: The customer starts by browsing available restaurants on the app and choosing the one from which to order food, or they can browse all available dishes and select what suits them. 2- Choose Order: The customer selects their preferred dishes from the menu, then specifies size, type, extras, and quantity. 3- Choose Delivery Method: After adding items to the cart, the customer chooses the delivery method, such as delivery to the specified address, pick-up from the restaurant, or dine-in at the restaurant. 4- Complete Order: After choosing the delivery method, the customer can use any available coupons or cashback cards to complete the order. 5- Wait for Acceptance Notification: The customer waits for a notification about the acceptance of the order. 6- Receive Order: The customer receives the order if it is being delivered or picks it up from the restaurant if they opted for pick-up.

  • Restaurant:

    1- Receive Order: When the customer completes the order, the restaurant receives a notification with the details of the new order, including the requested dishes and customer data. 2- Confirm Order: The restaurant confirms or rejects the order based on item availability and customer reliability (order completion history). 3- Prepare Order: The restaurant starts preparing the food according to the order details. 4- Delivery or Pick-up: After preparing the food, the restaurant delivers it to the delivery service if delivery was selected.     1- Receive Order: When the restaurant confirms the order, the delivery service receives a notification of the new order with details and customer data. 2- Confirm Order: The delivery service confirms or rejects the order based on customer reliability (order history). 3- Pick up Order from Restaurant: After the food is prepared, the delivery person picks it up from the restaurant. 4- Deliver Order: The delivery person delivers the order to the customer, ensuring timely service and confirming delivery through the app.

  • Track Order Status:

    1- Customer: Can track the order status through the app, from when the restaurant receives the order to when the delivery arrives. 2- Restaurant: Can manage the order and update its status (e.g., "Preparing," "Ready for Delivery"). 3- Delivery Person: Updates the status (e.g., "Accepted," "Delivered").

  • Additional Notes:

    1- Cancelling Orders: The customer or restaurant can cancel the order while it's still in the preparation stage. 2- Rating: After receiving the order, the customer can rate the restaurant and the delivery person based on their experience. 3- Payment: Payment is made either by cash on delivery or through bank transfer. 4- If the delivery service rejects an order, the customer can easily choose another delivery service.

    1- Cash Payment: This method allows customers to pay the restaurant, whether the order is for delivery, pick-up, or dine-in. 2- Bank Transfer Payment: This method is used by the restaurant to pay the application for subscription.

  • Responsibility:

    1- We are not responsible for any pricing errors that occur due to technical errors or mistakes from the restaurant. 2- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your payment information.

  • Refund:

    If the restaurant decides to cancel the subscription, it is not entitled to request a refund for the subscription.

Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before the preparation process begins.
  • Once the preparation starts, cancellations are not possible and are subject to the restaurant’s policy.

    3- After delivery has started:

    • The order cannot be cancelled after delivery starts.
    • If cancelled after delivery starts or if the customer refuses to accept it, it will be handled according to the restaurant's and delivery service's policy, and the customer will be reported on the app, which may affect their credibility and could result in future orders being rejected.

  • Restaurant:

    The restaurant can cancel the order as long as it is still in the preparation stage. The restaurant may cancel the order in cases such as: 1- Cash Payment: This method allows customers to pay the restaurant, whether the order is for delivery, pick-up, or dine-in. 2- Bank Transfer Payment: This method is used by the restaurant to pay the application for subscription. 3- In this case, the customer and the delivery service will be informed immediately.

  • Delivery Service:

    The delivery service cannot cancel the order

    1- Delivery Service Rights:

    • Receive technical support from the app in case of technical issues.
    • Rate the customer honestly based on the delivery experience.
    • Handle orders professionally and ensure the safety of the food during transportation.

    2- Delivery Service Responsibilities:

    • Deliver the order on time and under the agreed conditions.
    • Handle orders carefully to ensure they arrive intact.
    • Notify the customer and restaurant in case of any delays or issues during delivery.
    • Respect customer privacy and do not share their information with third parties.
